In the early stages, the mold can be removed relatively easily from silicone joints, as it is still on the surface. To do this, spray the infested areas generously with Lithofin KF Mildew-Away *and rinse it off with water after 10 minutes. A brush or a hard sponge makes cleaning easier.

In the case of severe infestation, cleaning alone is not enough. The mold quickly comes back from below. Then there is only one thing that helps: remove the joint with Lithofin KF Silicone Remover, for example. Spray the open joint well with Lithofin KF Mildew-Away *. This will destroy any spores that may be left behind. The treated area should dry for a few days, then you can insert the new joint.
